Our Headis Diary – October29.11.2016

Before some big tours in November and December the October was kind of calm. One World Cup Tournament, an international TV appearance incl. a new Headis partner country and a trip to Munich.

It began with Saarbrooklyn. The tournament had EVERYTHING! Catering.DJ.Sauna.Masseur.Headmintonchallenge.andsoon!

After the tournament was over René and Felix headed straight to the Netherlands. Here they did a TV show and signed the contract with our new Headis Partner for the Netherlands! Nice trip!

Just one day later René went to munich to talk about the future partnership with ISPO. So this were 2000 Kilometers as well in October!

Our Headis Diary – September08.11.2016

Compared to the summer september was really calm. There were two dates for the whole team.

After the awesome festival summer we unfortunately gave back all the great event tools so we now no longer have a bouncy castle at the office. So taht made 520 more kilometers for us.

Some days later the Ruhrpott was calling! The second Glück Auf Cup made more than 100 players come to Bochum and have a great time! The winners of the day were Red Hot Chili Header and Headsinfarkt. Great Games, Great Atmosphere, Great Pictures!

Our Headis Diary – August19.10.2016

Dude! That was an August! 4 Festivals, 2 Soccerevents, the worlds biggest gaming show and the end of an almoste endless run!

The first weekend of August: Let’s go to Hamburg an Munich at the same time! Our crew split up and took Headis tables to the Holi Festival in Munich and to the Spektrum in Hamburg. In Hamburg the old Headis Fan Moneyboy was there, too! Already in 2012 he turned the swag on with Headi Potter!

Just one week later one of the highlights of every headis year was about to come: The Headclash in Cologne! Full House – as usual! But something very unusual happened! You have to look at the Headis History until September 2014 to find Headsinfarkts last loss! Back than the former Vice World Champion Headset made it 11:9 in the third set! Headsinfarkt won the next 16 tournaments he competed at! A legendary run that will last a while..!

The day came this summer! Sebastian Headdel won the first set by 11:3 and was extremely focussed! Everybody knew that Headsinfarkt was able to come back! He won the second set 11:4 so we were about to see a third set. Headdel played an awesome match and was 9:6 in the lead. Then this happened:

Nice chanting Anons, great job Sebastian Headdel and a really awesome run by Headsinfarkt!

Right after this milestone of Headis history we were on the road again. Headonis and Lauchgesicht went to Leipzig while Potter, Sniper and Michael Headson went to Schalke 04. A day later the gamescom was calling for half of the crew. This year rush to the tables was eeeeeven bigger than the last years!

The rest of us went to Leipzig to the Highfield Festival. Here 10 boys and girls hung out for 2 days and did nothing but play Headis!! Next stop: Chiemsee Festival. That made it 9 Festivals and more than 6800 Kilometers! What a summer!

Our Headis Diary – July18.10.2016

China. Ruhrpott twice. The biggest Headis tournament of all time and two more festivals. Just an ordinary Headis-July!

With the  special guests Wurstverkäufer, Headbrötchen mit Zwiebeln and Pressure Pete, Headi Potter visited China again. As partner of the ISPO we once more showed Headis to thousands of people, had nice conversations and a great time!

Here you can watch the Top 10 from ISPO Shanghai and ISPO Beijing!

During their stay in Beijing some other guys went to Essen to the Smag Sundance. Headonis, Die Metz, Klausi und William O’Headison visited the Ruhrpott. For the hardcore fans: A documentation called „Achtung Kontrolle“  was filmed there and the guys are in it several times in the background 😀 😀  (Kapitel 2)

After the Sundance Die Metz and William O’Headion had a two day holiday before they started a 14 day trip with Michael Headson! They went to the Airbeat One and to the Deichbrand Festival – 1704 km! They even missed the Headis World Championship for that trip! #takeonefortheteam

In Kaiserslautern the rest of the team celebrated a unique Headis World Championship. There was a new player record with 175 competitors from 12 countries, an awesome filming team from the UK, a #1 Play that made way more than 50. Mio views and one very special gesture! Two weeks before the tournament a player from Lahr unfortunately passed away. He only played four Headis tournaments but with his great and easy mood he made himself a name really quick! After we gave him a minute of silence we directly gave him a minute of cheering! It was an unforgettable atmosphere and an unforgettable act! Before we enjoy the Top 10 Plays of the tournament one more time we want to remind you that “die Fliege” is the very first Headis Hall of Famer! His image is in our office since this summer!

The July ended with another festival. Headis likes the Ruhrpott and the Ruhrpott likes Headis. So we went to the Juicy Beats in Dortmund. Four more days and 664 km on the road. Dude! we’ve been on the road on 28 days in July!
