Every year Headis makes unbelievable progess. There is so much to tell that not everything could fit in one text.
Here are the highlights:

Over the year there were 12 Headis World Cups played. That makes a new record. Plus the Headis Masters at the beginning of the year makes one tournament every four weeks! We celebrated the first Tipico European Championship and the tenth World Championship. Great Milestones! From Switzerland, Belgium and the Czech Republic players came to Konstanz to receive a warm Welcome from the german players. Some weeks later it was time for the thenth Headis World Championship. There couldn’t be a better place than the “Wesch”, the place where Headis was invented in 2006! Surrounded by 150 spectaters the final took place on an earthy ground. That is Headis! At the end of the year Headsinfarkt wins his 11th tournament in 2015. Besides the Masters and the EC (where he couldn’t participate) he won every single tournament. But there is even more: Since the WeihnachtsköpperDrei 2014 he is UNDEFEATED.

Some weeks before he quit his TV career Stefan Raab wanted to play one more TV Total Headis Special. Tom Beck trained several weeks among the guys in Cologne an won the TV tournament. Even afterwords he was still playing there! Headis inventor Headi Potter and World Champions Headsinfarkt played a great match and made Stefan Raab hardly believed his own eyes. Millions watch the game on TV and online.

It feels like a long time has passed but it was only ten months ago. The Headis Charity-Projekt Headição wins the international ISPO-Award in the category “Social Awareness”. Followed by an invitation to Shanghai and two stays in the Dominican Republic. There were many tables built and we started a Headis supply on a regular base. The next Kooperation with the Dominican Sports Minister is in the making.

The participants of the WeihnachtsköppVIERei already know: Headis has a lead sponsor for the tournament series 2016. Glacéau vitaminvater. For you that means lots of free drinks and a big extra portion of awesomness at every tournament!

Some days before the year ende the sport made another huge step: While most people already chilled the beer for their sylvester celebration René didn’t rest and went to Shanghai. The result: The partnership for dissemination of Headis in China is decided. Who would have thought some years ago?! Awesome!

There is so much more to tell but we already concentrate on 2016 because we aim for even greater progess! In January the new homepage will be launched with some nice new features…

What would be the Headis tournament series without Göttingen? This year the gods of Headis gave a impressive answer of this question.

First friendly matches began Even Friday evening after preparing the staff for the competition. After this it was obvious that the bars and pubs of Göttingen have to be assaulted tonight.

The next morning 80 participants celebrated the annual 4 stars world cup up to the Olympus.

In the group of the girls Mini Milk persuaded with a lot of fast balls and pushed herself up to the finals where she met to Head Sparrow. Head Sparrow showed that her forehead wasn´t rusted and beat on her way to the final Headinho after Sparrows one and half year long Headis break. The game about position three was Schmoffkopf against Headinho, where Schmoffkopf was in front.

In the exciting final Mini Milk and Head Sparrow fired the balls ike hell allover the table. After the steam was removed the audience celebrated Mini Milk as the winner of the Göttinger world cup.

Even in the 16^th finals og the men celebrated some High quality encounters like Snyper Schorsch vs. the youth world champion Nomit.

The double world champions Heineken and Lauchgesicht qualified for the first half final and in the second half final the other double world champion Headsinfarkt showed Spiff that a world cup victory is impossible without beating him. This means the final players was called Headsinfarkt and Heinken, a combination which inflamed the one or the other world cup games and championships before. Specially Headsinfarkt didn´t want to disappiont the audience and won the cup with a strong performance.

The Headis community has been expecting to become part 10^th Headis World Championship for weeks. Players from 12 nations pilger to Kaiserslautern. Some of them more than 800 kilometers by car and some other 350 km by bicycle for writing history.

After the qualification on Friday remained 145 participants and was so the biggest Headis competition of all time. In the spirit of tradition the tables was named by the legends from WC 2006.

Of course the tournament was flooded by highlightx even in the early games. For example fight Headbrötchen vs. Headi Potter already in the 8^th final. A match that bribed with athletic, fashionable and rhetorical components. In general the atmosphere was heated like an boiling pot by the shouts and screams from the players and also by the audience. Additionally there were more volleys, dives and dust than ever before.

Since this moment all matches took place on the center court table which made the atmosphere became hotter again and the pressure for the player grows to the peak. Maybe this was the reason for-why the new comer FuWaTe from Hannover lost one´s cool and old hand Tatapan ran through to the winner´s podium on position three.

Another spectacular highlight was the match between Headsbrötchen against Heineken, maybe the match with the highest number of volleys, all time. That is pure Headis!

The female finals was stamped by tight sets and at the end Missing Pepper was the luckier one and so Head Sparrow had to celebrate her second position together with Pepper in the pool.

The male final took place between two of the best Headis player of our time Headsinfarkt and Lauchgesicht. Headsinfarkt dominated the first set and started lead the second with 7:0 but Lauchgesicht accepted the fight and compiled the 7:7. Headsinfarkt wasn´t very impressed enough bottle it was allowed to call himself the new world champion and winner of the biggest Headis tournament of all time. This historical victory induced frenetic exultation and raised to a legendary party up to the early morning.
